What it covers

The North American product-safety and grid-support standard for the power conversion system. Beyond electrical safety of the inverter, its Supplement SB is the route by which a PCS demonstrates the grid-support behavior required under IEEE 1547-2018 — voltage and frequency response and ride-through. It is the certification most often named for a PCS in US permitting and interconnection.
