SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)

A system for remote monitoring and control of industrial assets. In BESS, SCADA provides the operator interface for monitoring plant performance, issuing commands, receiving alarms, and logging data. Integrates inputs from the BMS, BPC, PCS, and BoP systems.

In energy storage

BESS SCADA aggregates real-time data from the BMS, PCS, thermal management, fire detection, and metering systems into a single operator interface — typically accessible both on-site and from a remote control room. The data historian within SCADA stores time-series data (voltage, current, temperature, SoC per rack) at resolutions down to 1 second, which is essential for warranty claims, performance analysis, and incident investigation.
